Economies of Scale in Health Insurance: 2026 Survey Results
Health plans participating in the Sherlock Benchmarks displayed economies of scale for a minority of administrative expenses, for which a doubling in size gave rise to expenses that ranged from 77% to 89% of the pre-doubling levels.
